Description
This is a bank barn built around 1830 to 1840, located approximately 15 meters west of Yeoland House in Swimbridge. The barn is constructed from stone rubble with stone dressings and features a hipped slate roof. It has a rectangular shape and is two stories tall, with first floor access at the rear. The front of the barn is flanked by pilaster buttresses beside an off-centre winnowing doorway, with one buttress at each end. There is a two-light window on the left end, while the lower storey includes a plank door and two-light windows in each of the three bays. All openings are topped with straight-headed dressed stone arches, and there are double plank doors at the rear.
