Description

The gate piers and flanking walls to Filleigh Deer Park date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick with stone dressings. The rectangular gate piers are built in Flemish bond and topped with stepped ashlar caps. The flanking walls feature ashlar coping and are finished with rusticated quoins and ball finials. The gates are a later addition. At the time of the last survey in October 1985, the structure was partly overgrown with ivy.
