Description

Shallowford Bridge is a structure dating from the 18th century or earlier, with a 19th-century parapet. It is constructed of stone rubble and features two semicircular arches made with ashlar voussoirs and keystones. The bridge has a pointed cutwater and a rustic parapet from the 19th century, which includes a double row of projecting stone slabs.
