Description

The boundary wall adjoining the north-east of the Dower House is likely from the 19th century. It is constructed of local stone rubble and features 20th-century concrete coping. The tall wall runs along the south-west side of Fore Street and curves south-westwards to follow the road. At the corner, opposite the gateway to Holcombe Court, the wall rises over an arch-headed doorway. This wall is a significant feature in the townscape, connecting a group of listed buildings on Fore Street with Holcombe Court and the Church of All Saints.
