Plan: Single depth 4 room plan house with a right of centre entrance into a passage with a late C17 stair to the rear of the passage : the flanking rooms appear to have functioned as parlours with a kitchen to the left and an adjoining unheated service room at the extreme left. Cider house at left end is probably a post C17 addition. Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 7 window front with a C19 gabled porch to right of centre with a C19 panelled door with a rectangular fanlight 2- and 3-light late C19 or C20 casements with glazing bars. The kitchen has a large open fireplace with a bread oven, remains of curing chamber adjacent to fireplace. The other fireplaces have modern grates but earlier jambs and lintels may survive. Good late C17 stair with turned balusters, first floor balustrade, square section newels (1 replaced) and 1 original faceted finial.
