Description

This is a cob wall located approximately 15 metres east of Browns Farmhouse in Colebrooke, Coleford. It is likely from the 18th century and features mostly exposed cob on rubble footings, topped with slate coping and ridge tiles. Part of the wall is plastered rubble and cob. A short section faces south onto the road and includes an exposed rubble gatehouse to the left. The return wall of exposed cob separates Browns Farmyard from the stream. This structure is included for its group value.
