Description

Hayne Bridge is a road bridge over the River Yeo, built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from local mudstone rubble, with neatly squared blocks used for the voussoirs and a drip course made of granite coping. The bridge features a single segmental arch that springs from low vertical abutments. At road level, there is a plain drip course, and the parapet is topped with granite coping. This small and simple bridge remains unaltered.
