Description

This is a boundary marker stone located at the east end of the south parapet wall of Calves Bridge in Morchard Bishop. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of granite. The stone stands approximately 0.70 meters high and has a flat top with a triangular shape, featuring a flat back and an angled front. The east side of the stone is inscribed with the letters 'MORCHARD P' in Roman serif capitals, while the west side bears the inscription 'LAPFORD P'.
