Description

This is a boundary stone located in Bradworthy, dating from the early 19th century and repaired in the early 20th century. The stone is a monolithic slate slab, standing nearly 1 meter high and 250 centimeters wide, and it is positioned against a bank. At the base, there is a bolted metal plate set horizontally. The stone features a vertical inscription in good, deep-cut lettering that reads 'Bradworthy/Moorwinstow', although the adjoining parish is now spelled Morwenstow. This boundary stone is part of a notable group of boundary stones in the area.
