Description

This summerhouse, located approximately 18 metres north-east of Heron Court, was likely built around 1830-1840. It is constructed from exposed local stone rubble and features a thatched roof. The structure is circular in shape with a conical roof and has a wide full-height entrance that is flanked by stone buttresses on the south-west side. Inside, wooden blocks indicate that the interior may have been plastered or panelled, although the exterior has always remained exposed. The summerhouse was probably constructed during the refurbishment of Heron Court around the same time.
