Description
The granary, located to the north-west of Benshayes Farmhouse, is likely from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill, which is whitewashed and plastered on the outside. The structure is supported on staddle stones and has a hipped slate roof. It has a square plan with the doorway situated on the north side. This granary is an unusual survival in the region and is part of a notable farmyard group.
