Description

The building is a former estate office that has been converted into a parish hall, with an adjoining range of farm buildings. It dates from the late 19th century and is part of the planned farmyard at Ford Barton. Constructed from stone rubble, it features slate and asbestos slate roofs. The structure is a long single-storey range, with the parish hall located at the left end. The remaining part of the range serves as a farm building and includes an archway entrance to the planned farmyard.

The exterior showcases a long single-storey range with a gabled stone porch at the left end, leading into the former estate office. This section has three 2-light casement windows with glazing bars and a rendered 20th-century lean-to. The farm building continues with a large arched stone entrance in the center. To the right of the archway, the building is blind, while to the left, there are three 2-light windows and one 1-light window, along with one loft doorway. The rear of the farm building has undergone significant alterations, but the entrance archway, a tall adjacent arched opening, and three original windows remain. Other openings have been modified with enlarged 20th-century doorways.

The interior has not been inspected. This impressive range is associated with other buildings in the planned farmyard and with Ford House and Barton House, which was formerly the agent's house for the Stoodleigh Court estate.
