Description

This is an early 19th-century building on FERRY ROAD, TOPSHAM. It is constructed of red brick, although the brickwork has been rebuilt and the exterior is now plastered. The building is two storeys high with a three-window front. It has modern casement windows. A good, simple doorcase is a notable feature. The roof is slate-covered. The building is listed because of its contribution to the wider architectural character of the area, forming a group with numbers 8 to 10, the Passage Inn (numbers 13 to 15), the Nail House, and the Nail Cellars.
