Description

The Lodge of Claremont Grove dates to around 1840 and was originally built as a pair of houses. It is a stucco cottage of two windows, designed with a plan approximating two joined octagons. A porch features a rounded front and a lunette window above the front door. The windows have lozenge-shaped frames. The roof is slate.
