Description

Number 1, Fore Street in Topsham is a fine red brick house dating from around 1800. It stands three storeys high and features five windows, all of which are sash windows with glazing bars and shutters on every floor. The ground floor has round-headed windows with shutters that are shaped to match. The house also includes a glazed Tuscan porch, a cornice, and a parapet. There is a later wing at the rear, and a lower wing to the south that matches Number 2. All the listed buildings on Fore Street form a group.
