Description

No. 24 Fore Street, dating to circa 1805, is built in the style of Nosworthy. It is a two-storey, three-window building of red brick, with the doorway set off-centre. The front features patent stone bands and vermiculated voussoirs to a round-headed doorway, which has a mask keystone. The ground floor windows are round-headed and set within slightly recessed arches. They are sash windows with glazing bars. A six-panel door is complemented by a fanlight. The building is topped with a parapet and slate roof. It forms a group with Nos. 22 to 30 (even) on Fore Street.
