Description

The Reynolds headstone, dated 1771, is located approximately 9 metres south of the nave of the Church of St Mary in Aylesbeare. This headstone is made of limestone and stands about 1.1 metres high. The top of the slab is shaped like a bifurcated scroll. It features crude upper and lower case Roman serif lettering, which commemorates the death of William Reynolds in 1771.
