AYLESBEARE AYLESBEARE Willcox headstone approximately 24 metres north-east of chancel of Church of St Mary

GV II

Headstone. Dated 1776 in memory of Humphrey Willcox. Limestone. Upright slab standing approximately 700 mm high with shaped head. The inscribed line border turns to low relief scrolls either side of a rosette on the head. The inscription below is in upper and lower case Roman serif lettering and records the death of Humphrey Willcox 1776. This headstone has been repositioned.
