Description
Whitlands is a house built around 1830, with a plaque that states it was originally constructed in 1624 and then rebuilt in 1830. The building is made of stone rubble with a rendered front and features a slate hipped roof with bracketed eaves. It has two storeys and five bays, with two-light casements that include glazing bars. The first floor has a central blind window with dates, and there is a central glazed door with a 20th-century wooden porch. At the rear, there are stone rubble wings, but none of the original 1624 house remains.
