Description

The Bridgewater Building Society is an early 18th century building featuring wide eaves and a slate roof. The facade, which dates from the late 18th century, is made of stucco and includes simple side pilasters. The building is two storeys high and has three dormers. It originally had three windows, but the original bars have been replaced with flat windows that have four lights, wooden mullions, and a transom. A sash window with glazing bars remains in the center. The wide doorway is complemented by side and top lights, and it likely includes later brackets and other decorative details.
