Description
The conduit head, located immediately north-east of Shepherd's Cottage, dates from around 1700. It is one of two conduit heads built over a small stream that flows down the side of Fore Street. The structure has a square ashlar plinth and features a pagoda top with a moulded cornice and a ball finial. The base is made of brick and has a small round arch that spans the stream. The other conduit head is found in Fore Street, west of St Michael's Church.
