Description

Loxbrook Bridge is a road bridge that spans a stream and was built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from dressed volcanic trap and features granite coping on the parapet. The bridge has a single segmental arch made of brick voussoirs and stone jambs, which are complemented by end pilasters and a string course above. The parapet is topped with chamfered granite coping stones.
