Description
This is a headstone located about 6 metres southwest of the tower of the Church of St Michael and All Angels in Awliscombe. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of freestone. The headstone has a shouldered shape with a rounded top and commemorates Hannah Banfield, who died in 1833. The stone features skilled carving, including a four-line verse, a swan-necked pediment, and an urn at the top.
