Description

This is an 18th-century cob cottage located on Budleigh Road in Budleigh Salterton. It is a single-storey building with an attic, featuring a half-hipped thatched roof. An eyebrow dormer window is present. The front of the cottage has two small, modern two-light casement windows on the ground floor, and a plank door to the right. To the left of the door is a projecting bay, likely the lower portion of what was once a taller chimney stack. The thatched roof extends over the truncated chimney stack and doorway, creating a porch. A brick chimney stack and a lean-to addition are located at the southwest end of the building. A later wing was added to the rear.
