Description
The Baptist Church Ebenezer Chapel was built in 1844 and is designed in a small classical style. The structure is made of stone rubble and features a stuccoed front with a pediment and rusticated angle pilasters. It has two round-headed rusticated doorways, each with keyblocks, semi-circular fanlights, and panelled doors. In the center, there is a round-headed window with glazing bars, above which is a tablet with an inscription flanked by round-headed recesses. The pediment includes a bullseye. On either side of the chapel, there are three round-headed windows with glazing bars and radiating bars in the fanlights. The chapel is complemented by stuccoed gate-piers at the front, which support a wrought iron overthrow and gates. A dwarf stone wall flanks the entrance, ending in stuccoed piers.
