Description

Woodend Farm House is a farmhouse dating from around the 17th century. It is constructed from stone rubble and originally featured a thatched roof, which has since been replaced with concrete tiles. The roof has gabled and hipped ends and the building is two storeys high, with an L-shaped plan. There are three ranges of windows, which are casements with glazing bars. The north range includes a boarded door with a hood above it. A circular oven projects from the angle of the house. The property has brick chimney stacks at the ridge and ends, and there is a lean-to structure on the north side.
