Description

No. 6 is an early 19th-century building located on the north-east side of The Beacon. It features a red brick facade with stucco window dressings and a modillion eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high with a basement and has three sash windows, some of which retain their glazing bars. There are approach steps leading down to the area, which is enclosed by railings. The entrance includes an Ionic doorway. This property was occupied in the early 19th century by Lady Nelson.
