Description

The Old Manor House is a 17th-century building with alterations, situated on Sandhill Street. It is a two-story and attic structure with three three-light casement windows. One sash window on the first floor lacks glazing bars. The building is primarily constructed of stone and cob, reputedly with brick-nogged timber framing. A plain entrance doorcase features pilasters, and the door itself has a fanlight and two fielded lower panels. Inside, original timber cross-framing and roof members are visible. Doors feature two fielded panels with H hinges and straps, and a staircase has a square newel and a molded rail. The building adjoins listed properties on Gold Street.
