Description
The carriage house and walls to the walled garden, located north of Grange, date from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of handmade brick, with the front elevation of the carriage house rendered. It features a hipped slate roof and has a rectangular shape. The carriage house includes a loft and three paired timber doors on the front, which are fitted with massive hinges. There are also three Diocletian windows with small panes. The garden walls are made of handmade brick, incorporating some blue headers, and the bricks may have been produced at Dulford in the Broadhembury parish. The interior of the carriage house was not inspected. This structure has group value with Grange.
