Description

This is an anonymous chest tomb located approximately 2 metres south of the aisle of the Church of All Saints in East Budleigh. It is likely from the mid-19th century, although the inscription is illegible. The tomb is made of limestone and features a grey basalt lid. It has a notably austere design, with a flat, square-cornered lid, plain sides, and a slightly projecting plinth. The weathering has rendered the inscription on the lid unreadable.
