Description

The Old Clink is a mid-19th century house that was formerly a police station. It features a stucco exterior and a slate roof with gabled ends and wide overhanging eaves supported by paired brackets. The building has giant corner pilasters and a band below the first floor cill level. It is two storeys tall and has three bays, with sash windows that include glazing bars. The ground floor is framed by moulded architraves. A prominent central round-arched porch, topped with a cornice and supported by panelled piers, adds to its architectural interest. This building is included for its group value.
