Description

Spring Combe is a house dating from circa 1840-50. It is a two-storey stucco-faced building with incised panelled pilasters on the front. The gable end has a slate roof with overhanging eaves, bracketed with an ornamented valance, and decorated ridge tiles. The symmetrical front has three windows, with recessed sash windows and later glazing. A central panelled and glazed door is present. A lower two-storey extension mirrors the eaves valance. The rear elevation features a tall stair light and a door comprising four flush panels within a plain surround, topped with a hood supported on shaped brackets.
