Description
Dunscombe Farmhouse, dating from 1633, is located at the head of Weston Combe in Salcombe Regis. Originally a fine 16th or early 17th century manor house, the south end of the existing farmhouse features Beer stone masonry and is two storeys high with a thatched roof. This section retains stone mullioned windows with drip moulds and an external chimney with offsets. The remainder of the farmhouse has later wooden casements. To the east, there are the ruins of a projecting wing, which include the remains of a fireplace.
