Description

Higher Lodge is an early 19th-century cottage ornee located on St John's Road in Withycombe Raleigh. The building features colourwashed stucco and a hipped thatched roof. The facade facing the drive is clad in rustic logs. It is a single storey structure with two small, centred bays that contain early 19th-century casement windows. A thatched porch with a hipped roof is situated at the centre, and there is a canted bay window facing the road.
