Description

Alma Cottage is an early 19th-century, two-storey, double-fronted cottage located on Coburg Road. It features stucco walls and a thatched roof, which may indicate a recasing of earlier buildings. The cottage has two-light wooden casements with glazing bars and a central trellis porch topped with a peaked canopy. This building is a typical indigenous structure of Sidmouth. Alma Cottage, along with Nos 1 to 4 Alma Terrace and the garden walls, forms a cohesive group.
