Description
Nos 76 to 79 Chapel Street are a range of thatched cottages located on the east side of Chapel Street in Sidbury, likely dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. The cottages are two storeys high with cob walls, some of which are rough cast. Each cottage typically has two windows, although No 78 has been modernised to feature only one window. No 77 has flush framed sash windows with intact glazing bars, while the other cottages have 19th-century glazing bar casements. The doors are plain cottage-style. These cottages, along with Nos 68 to 70 (consecutive), Woodvale Cottage, and Nos 71 to 81 (consecutive), form a group.
