Description

Gosford Bridge was rebuilt after the original bridge was washed away on October 4th, 1824. The current structure closely resembles Cadhay Bridge. It features three segmental arches, with both the parapet and arches made of brick. The parapet has stone coping and a band at road level. Between the arches, there are low rounded stone cut-waters with pilasters above them that extend to the top of the parapet.
