Description
This is a milestone located at Upottery, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is made of upright limestone and features a low triangular head, standing approximately 1.1 metres high. The front of the milestone is inscribed with capital letters and Arabic numerals, indicating the distances to Honiton (6 miles) and Taunton (11 miles).
