Description
Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1778 and early 19th century, constructed of rubble stone with a stone tiled roof featuring two ridge stacks and a west end stack. The building has two storeys and a four-window range of three-light flush mullion windows, each with raised bands above. The flush quoins add to its architectural detail. The left side of the farmhouse is double fronted, showcasing cyma-moulded windows and a central door within a chamfered surround, set in a shallow gabled stone porch that has a cambered archway with moulded imposts and stone tiles. A datestone marked "T SS 1778" is positioned above the door. The right side features a two-window range of windows in chamfered surrounds, while the rear wall includes a two-light recessed cyma-moulded mullion window. The farmhouse was formerly known as Small Pox Farm and may have served as an isolation house at one time.
