Description
The barn at West Sevington Farm, built around 1850 for Joseph Neeld of Grittleton, is constructed from squared rubble stone and features a stone slate half-hipped roof. It has lean-to stalls on the east side, flanking a gabled cart-entry. The west side includes an entry with a timber lintel and a relieving arch. There are vent loops and upper loading doors on each side of the barn. Inside, the structure has a seven-bay triple purlin roof supported by king-post and angle-strut trusses. Additionally, there is a cambered-arched inner opening leading into the east side cart-entry.
