Description
Folly Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of rubble stone with a stone tiled roof and end wall stacks. It stands two and a half storeys high and features a three-window range. The main floors have segmental headed openings with stone voussoirs, tripartite casements on the outer windows, and a pair of casements at the centre of the first floor. There is a 19th-century six-panel door set within a 20th-century glazed porch. The attic includes two eaves-breaking tripartite windows with leaded segmental roofs. The attic and first-floor outer windows have had their original casements replaced with 20th-century versions. The west end has a rendered extension with a coped gable, while the east side features a stone tiled rubble stone extension. There is also a lean-to at the rear.
