Description

Nos 7 and 9 East Street are early 19th-century terraced houses that stand three storeys tall. They are part of a row that includes Nos 1, 3, and 5, as well as Nos 15 to 19 (odd). The buildings are constructed of brick and feature a low-pitched slate roof. There are four ranges of windows; the outer ones are blind, while the inner two are glazing bar sashes with wide flat surrounds. The stone lintels above the windows are grooved to resemble brick flat arches. On the ground floor, there are two late 19th-century shop fronts, and to the right, there is a segmental arch that leads to a passage. Nos 11 and 13 are located at the back of No 9.
