Description

CORSHAM CHURCH SQUARE ST 8770 5/75 Isaac monument about 4m south of north boundary wall, in north-east angle of churchyard of Church of St. Bartholomew GV II

Chest tomb, later C18, ashlar with large raised oval north plaque and raised fielded south plaque, both flanked by fielded panels with flower and fruit drop at each angle. Moulded base and cornice with pulvinated frieze broken forward over centre plaques. Inscription to J. Isaac, died 1782 on south side.
