Description
This pair of early 19th-century buildings occupies the south side of Silver Street in Warminster. They are constructed of brick with a low-pitched slate roof and gable chimneys. Each building has two window ranges, featuring glazing bar sash windows. The second floor windows are single-hung and lack most of their original glazing bars in No. 4. The windows are topped with stone lintels shaped as flat brick arches. The ground floor of the buildings has been altered. No. 5 has a late 19th-century shop front characterised by pilasters, a modillion cornice to the fascia, and a recessed central entrance. The buildings are included on the list for their contribution to the group value of the street.
