Description

The former stable block of Nos 21 and 21A, dating from 1594, is located to the east of the house. It is constructed from stone rubble and brick, topped with a hipped old tile roof. The building features irregular two and three-light leaded casement windows. A central pointed archway has a rough chamfered stone surround, and garage doors have been inserted to the right. There is also a hipped dormer loft hatch. All the listed buildings in The Close form an outstanding group.
