Description

No. 4 Crooked Corner is a cottage from the 19th century, part of a row of similar buildings. It is constructed from sarsen, flint, and brick, topped with a tiled roof. The cottage is two stories high and has two and a half bays. The entrance is on the left, featuring a door beneath a 20th-century tiled porch. The cottage is built as one with No. 5, which is noted for reference. It has various windows with brick jambs and segmental heads, including a 16-pane window in the principal room. The eaves are open, and there is a 20th-century two-story hipped extension at the rear. A stack is located opposite the entrance and is shared with No. 5.
