Description
Broadwell House is an early 19th-century house located on White Street in Market Lavington. It features Flemish brickwork and incorporates a stone gable from an earlier greensand structure, which has been raised in clunch. The house has a slate roof and is two storeys high, with three bays and two rooms deep. The layout includes a through stair hall plan with flanking reception rooms. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with a fanlight, accessed by three steps and set within an arched recess. The windows are sixteen-paned sash windows, complete with gauged lintels and keystones. Additional architectural details include a plat band, wide boxed eaves, and a hipped roof, with stacks located at the sides. There is also a single-storey extension on the left, which features a similar door.
