Description
Nos 62 and 63 on New Park Street are a symmetrical pair of houses dating from the early 19th century. They are two storeys tall, constructed of red brick on a stone plinth, featuring a stone sill course at the first floor. The houses have a small stone cornice and blocking course, and they are topped with hipped slate roofs. Each house has two windows on the first floor, with No 63 having an additional false window. The first-floor windows are recessed sashes, four panes wide. On the ground floor, there is one wider window that is off centre, along with a recessed door that has six flush panels, two of which are glazed in the door of No 62. Each house also features a two-pane rectangular fanlight above the door. Nos 62 to 67 form a group.
