Description

The Lodge to Neston Park is an early 19th-century building constructed for the Fuller family, who were London brewery owners. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a Welsh slate roof with panelled ashlar stacks. The lodge is a single-storey structure with a curved hipped roof supported by wooden posts over a verandah at the west entrance. The entrance has a six-panelled door flanked by 12-pane sash windows and pilasters with moulded cappings on either side. The left side, facing the drive, has a continuous verandah on posts with sash windows. At the rear, there is a catslide roof, and a lean-to extension on the south side includes a four-pane sash window. Neston Park itself was built around 1790 for the Fullers.
