Description

No. 108 Anchor Road is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century, including a raised eaves level. The building is constructed of painted limestone rubble, featuring brick ridge and gable stacks, and has a double Roman tile roof. It has a single-depth plan and consists of a single storey with an attic, displaying a two-window range. The right-hand side has a 20th-century gabled porch with a 20th-century door, and there are 20th-century two- and three-light casement windows. The central attic window retains timber lintels and rafters from a former gable dormer that was removed when the roof was raised. To the left, there is a 19th-century extension with a projecting outshut and a gabled dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
